The Richard Mille RM 65-01 “McLaren W1” is the brand’s most complex automatic chronograph to date, created in partnership with McLaren and limited to 500 pieces. Its 43.84 × 49.94 mm tonneau case is crafted from Carbon TPT® with a titanium mid-case, combining lightweight strength with visual depth. The papaya-orange accents and strap draw inspiration from McLaren’s motorsport heritage, while the layered bezel and sculpted pushers emphasize the watch’s racing DNA.
The skeletonized dial showcases the RMAC4 movement, operating at 36,000 vph and offering functions including a split-seconds chronograph, 30-minute and 12-hour counters, a large date, function selector crown, and a rapid-winding pusher that allows for quick power reserve replenishment. A variable-geometry rotor ensures optimal winding efficiency, adapting to the wearer’s level of activity.
